Clay Handbuilding: Animal Menagerie/6-12 years

8 weeks

Explore the exciting world or working in clay! We’ll learn and expand on the techniques of coil, pinch and slab construction and turn our clay into exciting new animals each week. We'll explore how to build mammals, reptiles, even fantasy animals in this imaginative class that builds sculptural skills. We’ll glaze our creations and fire them in our kiln.

Monday, 4:30-6:00pm

Price: $110 plus $15 materials fee

Toddler Paint and Clay / 2-4 years (Class is full, but we will be adding another one. Please email if you are interested.)

Young children love to express their ideas in clay and paint. This class provides time for a child and caregiver to discover the wide variety of art one can make. Each class begins with a story, then an exploration in paint and clay. Along the way, children will work on texture, line and colors, sharpen fine motor skills, and stretch their imaginations.

Tuesday, 10:00-11:00 a.m.

Price: $110 for adult/child combo, all materials included.

Art Explorers /Mixed-Age for 5-11 years

Drop-In or punch card

Join us on Saturdays from 10:30-noon for art class with your pals where everyone gets to choose! Each Saturday we’ll pick one or two mediums--from paint and pastels to textiles and clay--and show you a whole lot of interesting ways to use them. Instructors will support and help each child create individualized pieces using their imagination as their guide.

Saturday 10:30a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Cost: $15 drop-in or $10 per visit punch card (cards are transferrable and may be used by multiple children in the same group)

A New Twist to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

What happened to Veruca, Augustus and all the kids who didn’t win in the family favorite Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory?

Join us for this exciting mixed-age ensemble where kids explore the untold stories of Willy Wonka’s chocolate empire! Students learn fundamentals of acting (body, voice, and imagination), ensemble work, and performance skills. They'll create a final performance for the last day of class. This class is a great way to build confidence, problem solving skills, and encourage teamwork. Plus, it's a whole lot of fun!
