Blackbird Arts has partnered with local artist Glenn Wolff and Rebecca Lessard of Wings of Wonder to present two unique half-day workshops. The October 6 workshop is geared toward families with an adult and child 6+ years. The second workshop is October 13 and for adults only.
Glenn Wolff will lead participants in sketching exercises designed to help them become comfortable and knowledgeable drawing live birds. Rebecca Lessard from Wings of Wonder will be hosting the second part of the workshop where she will discuss conservation and ecology with a focus on the raptors and will have several of her birds accompany her. Participants will learn about their habitats, rehabilitation, and conservation and will have the chance to sketch live raptors up-close.
Date: Saturday, October 6 1-4 p.m. (families); Saturday,Oct 13, 1-4 pm (adults only). OCT 13 DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO LATE NOVEMBER...EXACT DATE AND TIME TBD.
Cost: Oct 6; $49 adults and $30 children with an adult--includes all materials. Oct 13: adults only $65.
